To the voters of Baltimore City,

You can click on our names in the left sidebar to learn more about each of us.

Throughout our careers, we have believed that the law provides the best hope for protecting and advancing the ideals of our society.  We aspired to become judges because we believe we can make a difference serving as fair and conscientious arbiters in the courts.

We care about the City of Baltimore.  The City has deep-seated problems.  We see those problems every day in our courtrooms.  But the residents of the City also have enormous resilience and potential.  We look for that potential in the parties who appear before us.

We know that every litigant who appears before us has an important matter, perhaps even a matter of life-changing magnitude.  We strive to treat each litigant with respect and to give each a fair opportunity to be heard.  We apply our knowledge of the law and our best judgment to every case.

We work hard.  Ours is the busiest Circuit Court in Maryland.  We must be efficient and effective in coping with heavy dockets, but we also must guard against letting the volume of cases overwhelm the need to give individual attention to each matter.

We believe we are serving you and will continue to serve you with our best talents and efforts.  We ask for your vote in the primary and general elections in 2010.

Thank you very much,

Judge Vi Brown
Judge Larry Fletcher-Hill
Judge Steve Sfekas
